Strategi Komunikasi Intergenerasional dalam Membangun Kohesi Sosial Generasi Millenial, Z dan Alpha

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi intergenerasional dalam membangun kohesi sosial antara Generasi Milenial, Generasi Z, dan Generasi Alpha. Perbedaan karakteristik, pola komunikasi, serta preferensi media di setiap generasi seringkali memunculkan kesenjangan pemahaman yang berpotensi menghambat terciptanya kohesi sosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi komunikasi yang adaptif, inklusif, dan partisipatif guna memperkuat hubungan antar generasi di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga narasumber yang merepresentasikan masing-masing generasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang efektif dalam membangun kohesi sosial meliputi: (1) penggunaan media digital sebagai ruang dialog lintas generasi, (2) pendekatan empatik dan kesetaraan dalam komunikasi interpersonal, (3) pemanfaatan storytelling dan konten visual yang relevan dengan karakteristik generasi muda, serta (4) penguatan nilai toleransi dan kolaborasi dalam lingkungan keluarga dan pendidikan. Generasi Milenial berperan sebagai jembatan komunikasi yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, Generasi Z menunjukkan kecenderungan komunikasi yang cepat, terbuka, dan berbasis digital, sedangkan Generasi Alpha lebih responsif terhadap komunikasi visual-interaktif dan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dengan kajian komunikasi lintas generasi yang menekankan pentingnya adaptasi pesan, pemilihan media, serta pembangunan empati sosial dalam menciptakan kohesi sosial dengan strategi komunikasi yang tepat, perbedaan generasi tidak menjadi penghalang, melainkan menjadi kekuatan dalam membangun solidaritas dan integrasi sosial di masyarakat.
